The Dave Young Children's Literature Foundation

REGISTRATION IS OPEN for the 28th Annual Dave Young Classic on Thursday, June 26, 2025!

The Dave Young Classic annual golf tournament brings Dave's family and friends together and raises funds to support the Foundation.  

Mission Statement

"I have always believed strongly in people, human kindness and going out of my way to help others.  For all of you who wake up tomorrow, look around at the people you love, and enjoy their company, share their love and don't let little insignificant things bother you.  Enjoy that precious day." - Dave Young

The Dave Young Children's Literature Foundation was established by Dave Young in 1997.  Dave designed the logo for the Foundation. The Foundation continues Dave's vision of providing funding to school libraries,  sponsors the promotion of literature through technology, and awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Natick and Westborough, Massachusetts.

To date, the The Dave Young Children's Literature Foundation has raised $175,515!

Thank you for a wonderful day for the 27th Annual Dave Young Classic! We had an amazing day for golf, lunch, remembering Dave, spending time with friends and family, and raising funds for the Foundation!
